Japan buying trip – Spring 2018

With the All Japan Koi Show Koi buying trip to Japan just about to start, planning for the Spring koi buying trip to Japan has started too.

Spring is a good time to buy all sizes of Koi, and all varieties. Tosai (Koi Born last May/June) are the most popular.
We take out some dealers on this trip who are looking for the best possible Koi for their season at home. We feel its important for Dealers to make the trip and actually see what happens over in Japan, instead of just buying from an online price list.

When do we go?

We run dealers trips separate but we also take hobbyists who are looking to find those special Koi. Everything is available. Many people buy smaller Koi in the Spring then leave them in Japan to grow over the Summer, then harvest them in October.

We run the dealers trips starting from mid March and then the Hobbyists trips into April.
